Garcia Supply was founded in 2016, when owner Brian Schaeffer saw a void in the market for smaller contractors and property owners who were not able to access the same benefits as the larger players in the markets. In his opinion, the volume discounts on HVAC equipment that were available to large contractors meant that smaller operators were always at a disadvantage. He wanted to help those business owners get better deals on the equipment they sell and install.
Brian brings a wealth of experience in the air conditioning industry to the company. He spent 25 years in engineering, software development, and management positions at manufacturing and logistics conglomerate Siemens, a Fortune 500 company. As an entrepreneur, he founded Comfort Zone Heating and Cooling, a residential and commercial HVAC company located in Canton, Georgia, that has served the suburbs north of Atlanta since 2010.
Still licensed by the state of Texas to install and service residential and commercial HVAC equipment, he continues to mentor new service technicians and sales managers and remains active in the field.
With connections at all levels of the HVAC industry and an especially strong relationship with Goodman, Brian wants to level the playing field for other small business proprietors. He’s ready to put the deep product knowledge he’s acquired through hands-on labor to work for you, listening to what your customers are looking for and recommending the best equipment to meet their needs. Unlike larger suppliers, he’ll spend the time it takes to get to know you and your customers.
